I’ve been working hard this week doing some photo-shoots, hence fewer updates on the blog. Just thought I would show you a photo from a shoot I had on wednesday.
I’ll upload the rest this weekend.
Did another shoot which will come out next week.
Photographer: Alexander Habesland. Model: Ronnie (Boom Agency Milano). Stylist: Veronica Mazziotta.

It’s just a little touch of fate, it will be okay.

As some of you guys know my camera was stolen a few days ago.
It’s strange, weird and not cool to be without it. After an interesting trip to the Italian police I’m still waiting for the insurance company to get going. In the meantime I have one of my best friends Chimen here, visiting me.
I’ve adopted her camera while she’s here. Loves.
Hopefully I’ll be able to buy the new one really soon!
You’ll go and I’ll be okay,
I can dream the rest away.
It’s just a little touch of fate, it will be okay.
It sure takes its precious time, but it’s got rights and so have I.

Summer Moved On

I really got that autumn feeling in Milan today and the melancholic ‘what about summer?’ thing that you get after something’s over. Looking forward to new adventures this autumn – so bring it! (said in that “Bring it on” – cheerleader movie kind of way).
These are pictures from my vacation last summer with some of my closest friends. Miss you guys.

So, I haven’t been able to blog for a week due to an angry photo library that wouldn’t cooperate with me! After  a lot of attempts to fix this mother f#$&=” I got it right and am back in business. Have some photos stored up so the blog will again be updated daily. Loves. Thought I’d start by showing a couple of pics of me and my roomate Steffen with our “Gone Fishing” sign, meaning a number of wonderful things. Can U guess some of it?

So it seems that it can take a while before I can release the pictures from the shooting last week but figured I’d show you an outtake.
Giada (from was fantastic to work with and she’s so beautiful.
(Hence the modeling career, obviously).

Blowin’ in the Wind

So, no updates the last couple of days because I’ve been working like crazy on  the pictures for the Prêt-à-Porter line that’s due tomorrow. Now I’m definitely going to bed. 34 pictures – done!
For now – I’ll just leave you with these outtakes from the park last week.
Buona notte.

Guys, girls, parc and a vent

Just another lovely sunday afternoon in the parc with friends, loves, home made pancakes, and a vent.

But there were fuckloads of mosquitos there
So we decided to move, and found a fantastic vent a.k.a. air-condition and bug-repellent!

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

The Hunchback of Notre Dame, part II

And what better way to finish this post, than with this picture?

Maybe I need some rehab, or maybe just need some sleep

Just got back from Munich, haven’t really slept and I feel like this:

Unfortunately, I do not look like this, I’m more in the train-wreck area thank you.
Gonna post some cool photos from the Tom Rebl @ Munich Fashion Week tomorrow and thereafter some cool and weird stuff from the backstage/hotel area. Loves.

Friends, Lovers or Nothing

This week my wonderful, fabulous friend Siri has been visiting me in Milan. She has gotten first hand experience with all the wonderful mosquitos and dangerous drinks, Milanese people know which ones I’m talking about. She’s leaving tomorrow for Norway and I’m leaving for Munich, Germany (Fashion week). Gonna do a lot of pictures and show later on. Fabuloso!

Under my umbrella

Once upon a time it rained in Milan. It lasted for about 30 minutes. That was a good day.

11/08-10 UPDATE: The day after this post, and it’s a fucking rainstorm in Milan! Maybe I actually control the weather? Interesting.

‘Strange Dresses’

These dresses by Maison AboutforAbout, called ‘Strange Dresses’ will soon be available on their online store. Italian super blogger Chiara Ferragni ( was the model and she was fantastic!
Later on I’ll be doing the entire Lookbook for the new clothes and also an exiting line of Pret-a-porter, all done be the talented people at Maison.
These are the pictures from the shoot with Chiara, 15 pics, 5 pics per outfit:
Outfit no 1

Outfit no 2
Outfit no 3

The Blonde Salad, Maison AboutforAbout, Tom Rebl

Had a fantastic night last night. First I did a photo-shoot with Chiara Ferragni, one of Italy’s most famous bloggers: She’s wearing altered dresses from Maison AboutforAbout, an exiting clothing brand with a base in Milan, more about that next week after she’s published my pictures on monday. After the shoot, I met with some fabulous people who run the showroom for Tom Rebl in Milan, we danced, laughed, talked, and will hopefully do a project with them later on. These pictures were taken after a few Negroni’s, but thought they were pretty cool 🙂

Take a Moment.

100 blogposts, fantastic!
It’s a lot of fun and it’s great to get so much nice feedback from people who’s following.
I’m gonna keep at it and the blog will hopefully only get better and bigger.
(If you like it, invite your friends)
Thought I’d just post as normal and show these pictures I took yesterday.

Francesca Woodman

Yesterday I was walking around a bit taking pictures and I saw this fantastic poster advertising a photo-exhibition by photographer Francesca Woodman (1958-1981). She took fantastic self-portraits and had a way of viewing the world that changed the world of art photography forever. If you’re in Milan – check it out!

I love the way posters curl up and when it’s combined with other things like branches or grafitti.
Check out the original picture, and several others here
And while we’re at it, here’s a couple more street-pictures I took yesterday:

Ray of light

1st of August and we’re all a bit sleepy after last night. Milan is good today, a.k.a. you won’t die from the heat, so going out later. Steffen made trashy breakfast while the rest of the house pretended to be bears during winter.

UPDATE: The picture won the “Export of the week” at Björn Borg, check it out:

Saturday Morning

So, I fucked up my shoulder this weekend and spent most of my time in a hospital in Milan. FUN!
Therefore, writing is a bit tricky a the moment since it was my left should that took a pounding (I’m lefthanded). But feeling better and after 3-4 more days I will be back in business!
Just thought I’d show you some morning love, my friends Nadine & Steffen

Doing some deleting in my massiv imagestorage on the harddrive and keep finding cute photos that I’d forgotten about, like this one, taken in march, during the insane cold winter in Norway:

I Will Survive!

Last night me and Steffen had a great night out (like we do), and between bars we found a gorgeous little fountain and went swimming (with clothes I might mention). Then we went to another place (and they actually let us in) were we got some free Tequila. It’s the perfect way to survive the heat in Milan: drinks and fountains!

Blame it on the Sun

Another hot, sunny day in Milan. Amazing how some people make it look comfortable.
Btw, the unsharp edges are not photoshopped, it’s all about putting stuff in front of the lens 😉

Floor Party

Me and my fabulous model-neighbour Nadine had another little photoshoot.
It’s amazing if you get anything done in this fucking heat in Milan, mostly we drink wine and laugh a lot.

I like that last picture better in BW though. What do you think?

So this is how it looks when two drunk people – one being a fantastic model and the other a “hur bra som helst”-photographer decides to do a spontanious photo-shoot in our fabulous appartement.

Molto Caldo

And we’re off, celebrating nothing and everything in our fabulous appartement. It was especially fantastic that our neighbors across the hall turned out to be friends of ours.
Disaronno, photo-shoots and “The Devil Made Me Do It”. Loves.
“A coo coo’s nest”, a.k.a. fabulous silver clock, and Steffen – a.k.a. coo coo.
Around the world in one after-party:

Io Sono Alexander

So, in Milan still trying to figure out how to talk Italian, resulting in a lot of interesting food choices and “conversations”. Milan is a complete sauna these days so haven’t been able to bring myself to go out and take pictures just yet. So for now I’ll just leave you with a picture of Steffen – my roomate. One of the few people who actually sleeps as a model – a.k.a. sleep-posing.

But then he wakes up an blossoms yet again:

‘Behind the Scenes’

The ‘Tarot’ shoot was divided into two days, on the first day I only had to do 2 pictures, and I had the great Dag Veivåg with me as my assistant, he filmed and took some photos along the way.
(The second part of the shoot will be out later with extras).
For ‘The Hanged Man’ I had the model get in the cold water and then lay perfectly still on some very uncomfortable rocks.

Then I placed a poor little chair on those rocks and balanced on it with my camera lifted as high as possible. It all worked out in the end, but it could have very easily gone terribly wrong.

Prepping the model:
Please don’t let me die:
‘The Fool’ however was a much easier picture to get
And then this:

became this picture, among others:

Subway snack

Crazy times calls for no blogging, as of sunday I’ll be living in Milan. Hopefully I’ll actually be packed and ready by then. This picture was taken on my way home last week after I took some bodypaint pictures that make-up artist Kine Berg did (look out for those later).

Also, I took some more pictures this week, and I finally got my new mac – so I’m connected and all is well in the world once again, or something like that. Gonna be putting out (haha) – some more stuff later on. Cheers.

Pee Aaahr

Some PR news from my part. The promotional pictures I took of Martine Marbel is coming in handy when it’s single-release time, and (cool Norwegian website of entertainment news) recently posted an article about her:

So now, just look out for her new single “Fix This”, scheduled release July 2nd.
Get a little taste:

Project Runway, no sorry, photo-shoot

Yes, so I’m finally done with the fashion-shoot (though not the retouching part). We had our second shoot yesterday and I had my posse there doing their magic. After incredible heat and sunshine all day it had to get clody, windy and did I mention; freezing!

I don’t have a lot of sexy, interesting “behind the scenes” pictures, because I have people for that! (word) But here’s a couple of tests though, and I’ll show the finished series real’ soon.

One freezing model
And one happy stylist (who brought wine)

This is what a test-shoot looks like

On monday I was out, finally, doing the test-shoot for my fashion-spread project. It was raining all last week so it was good to get som nicer weather in time! Sandra was there to be my assistant. Mostly, she was smoking, carrying my coffee and chewing bubble gum while I was having a mental breakdown. Still fun though. And I have better grasp at what I’m gonna do for the actual shoot.

Yes indeed preparation. There’s a lot of work that needs to be done before I move to Milan later this month! One of them is to do a shoot next week, that will involve about 15 people I guess. Here’s a little clue of what it’s all about:

I’ve been crazy busy working on the nursery, now it’s finally done! What do you think?

No bedroom is complete without a boogie monster
You also need a bed, not necessarily one that’s horisontal
Some lovely closets maybe

and finally, a hairy dead friend.

That’s no Pussy

Yesterday I was carefree, dirty and a bit drunk in the park with a couple of friends. Finally – it’s summer in Norway, though it usually lasts for about two seconds. Our bodyguard happened to be Whisky, not whisky as in Jack – but this guy:

When I got back my Mac died (the huge amount of coffee that fell over/in it, might have something to do with that).
So now – I’m fucked.
So tonight – I’ll probably get fucked up.

The Real Photo Booth

Today, me and my roomate – Cecce – went out to enjoy the long-awaited summer in Oslo! And to celebrate we thought it would be fun to do something real vintage – the good, old, photo booth:

We also made the annual ‘Hugh Hefner; balcony as a bed’ -look for summer.
Looking forward to a lot of late nights with friends and wine here.

Backyard Party

Yesterday was the birthday celebration for a friend of mine, so the backyard was decorated with balloons, cards, lots of fantastic barbeque food, live music, and of course – good friends.

I got love – for Dattera

I’m going out with a bang – the bang being afterparty @ Dattera. Yesterday was (probably) my last shift there so we had to do a bit of Dirty Dancing and throw back some beers. I have an incredible amount of pictures but don’t have the time right now to go through them all – so for now, I’ll just leave you with this one:

Thanks to everyone at Dattera for making me an alcholic and I love you all. If this was my last shift – it certainly wasn’t my last afterparty! Ciao darlings.

Martine Marbel covershoot

So I sent over the pictures from the photo-shoot with Martine Marbel to Universal Music. They went for 5 pictures including a cover for her next single! They wanted the cover in black & white, but I also liked the version with a vintage colour scheme look. What do you like?

New Single, scheduled for release in June: Martine Marbel – Fix this

Peeping photographer

Was at a birthday-party on sunday – safe to say it was a lot of fire, meat and sambucca – those pictures I’m keeping in the vault, but Tweety bird and Helle’s legs on the other hand: Love.

Creating Kodak-moments

Yesterday I was quite the busy bee, assisting photographer Adam den Haene from 10 AM to 7 PM and then running off to my own photo-shoot with Norwegian artist Martine Marbel – finished sometime past midnight.

Adam den Haene was the photographer for an editorial that’s gonna be published in Massiv magazine this fall. Styling by Erlend Elias Bragstad. Don’t really know what I can share about that shoot – so for now I’m just gonna show a couple of pictures from Adam’s earlier work:

Also, the photo-shoot with Martine Marbel went really well. A few promo pictures and a possible cover for her next single, coming out soon. Will post the edited pictures as soon as I can.

Check out Martine’s blog: Martine Marbel

Milan tesoro, Milan

Yesterday we finally got an OK from the landlord, so as of July – I’ll have an apartment in Milan!
But I can’t do Milan, and fierce apartment, without these guys:

Elin, Steffen & Sanna: Ciao roommates! Love.
Took these pictures from one of my earlier trips to Milan, of course at an after-party, which I have a sneaking suspicion we’ll be having a lot of.
So now I only have to learn Italian and become a successful photographer, and then, after lunch,
I’ll party.

Studio Work

Managed to get a bit of retouching done before going to work. These are pictures of Kristina Knaben Hennestad, Norwegian actress, whom I also went to school with back in the day. Hope you like.

And, when I find the time, I’m gonna show you the rest.

Oh lordy lord, I need time to retouch

This tuesday I was  in the studio, again, and did a shoot with my fabulous make-up artist Kine who did body-paint on the model. She was completely covered in gold. But again, I need time to retouch them! Also there’s some cool studio-pictures from last week as well.

Right now I have to run out and take care of some paperwork, but thought I’d leave a little sneak-peak of the look from tuesdays shoot.

Also, as usual – I’m the testmodel

Avenue Models

Today I stopped by my modeling agency in Norway, Team Models – and I found out that the Swedish modeling agency in Gothenburg wanted to represent me! So as of today, I’m also a part of Avenue Models. Loves.

As I’m currently in Gothenburg with friends (and didn’t bring my computer), I can’t show you the cool things I’ve photographed yet. But, I thought I’d show just an iPhone picture;

Today we were vintage-shopping, and I noticed that the whole area looked kind of retro – much to do with cute things like this:

I’m gonna post all the weid, the cool and the fun pictures from Gothenburg when I get back next week.
Look out.

Studio shoots

Here is a couple of finished pictures from the photo-shoot I had on tuesday with actress Yngvild Støen Grotmol ( She needed some promotional pictures and we did a few looks for her. One of the looks was the 50’s style (I have that one in colour as well, but I loved the more black & white feel to it) and the second one is a more basic, sweet headshot. In total we chose 7 pictures, and I’m still working on the rest. Also, today I did another photo-shoot with another actress, it went really well and we ended up with a bunch of pictures I’m gonna get done later on.

Gay without a Pearl Earring

Ok, so yesterday I had a photo-shoot, this time as the photographer. Now, these pictures aren’t done yet – but always when I do a photo-shoot in a studio, I use myself as a model for getting the right lighting.

And since I liked one of these test pictures, I put one out on Facebook.
Only, a good friend of mine – Steffen – quickly saw an odd resemblance;
“Girl with a Pearl Earring” – a 1665 painting by Johannes Vermeer.

I dunno, maybe I just need to buy some earrings.
Oh, and look out for the real photo-shoot pictures, coming soon.
My good friends Elin & Sanna ( was recently in Florence where they saw this
So apparently, I’m famous :p

Art @ Dattera til Hagen

Yesterday was the opening of Dattera til Hagen’s new entrance hall. It’s design was made by Mattias Edström, Hanna von Bergen and Thisbe Verner-Carlsson. They did a fantastic job and I drank a fantastic amount of beer (look out for those pictures later).

On the way

These are just a couple of pics taken on the train, going to Gothenburg. I didn’t have the guts to take too many pictures because my camera is a bit noisy. But here’s a couple at least.

Modeling job

Yesterday I went to Gothenburg, Sweden, to do a modeling job early today. The pictures won’t be published until July but I think they’re gonna look great. I took these pics with my iPhone when I wasn’t in front of the camera. My co-model was a beautiful swedish girl named Arwen.

I got love – for friends and coffeeshops

I have a lot of pictures from cafés, mostly because I spend so much time there with friends,  drinking coffees, beers or whatever poison we’re into that day. These pictures were taken earlier this week.
My dear friend Mona, whom I don’t get a chance to see very often.

Under Construction

After some feedback from photographer Damian Heinish, I decided it was time to give my homepage a makeover. Still, I’m not a web designer so it’s a slow learning process. Here’s a couple of screenshots from the new design I’ve started working on – the idea is to make it look simple, professional, and let the pictures speak for themselves. The adress is

Front page
I appreciate any feedback – criticism and good ideas you might have.
If you know about web-design, feel free to volunteer for this project 😉

Yesterday I was working, but a few of my friends stopped by – among them the beautiful Vibeke.
Here’s a picture I took of her last time we turned one beer into a whole evening of champagne, wine, beers and crashing on our friends couch. Love.
And today I was to work as well, but got sick.
Still, I managed to take a quick trip to the park for some fresh air and found a leftover portal key to the Kingdom of Narnia:

If Walls Could Talk

This I saw on a wall in Milan, and took the picture with my phone.
I had completely forgotten about it until I went through the pictures today.
The best camera is the one you have with you.

Here We Go

Ok, so, these are very awkward and politicly incorrect pictures – that for us is hilarious.
It’s taken from the greatest after-party ever, and so, I couldn’t keep them to myself.

We start at the very beginning – which was the end of work. I made a dirty ‘truth or dare’ paper fortune teller and we’re off! But first – get some food!

First, choose your poison from the pink origami of fun:

Most of these pictures were not actually an assignment so much as an act of inspiration (a.k.a. beer)
Such as swallowing of hands:
This is what it looked like when Sandra was Lars, and Lars was Sandra:

And of course we made art
This…. I can’t really explain, it was taken a bit later in the evening (read: morning)
And so that concludes that after-party, we’ve had a lot of them – but this was really something special!

Ok, just got back from, well, beer – and found out that one of my pictures has been published in Norway’s biggest newspaper VG! The article is about the break-up between Princess Madeleine and Jonas Bergström. Are Grongstad, who I took the pictures of, is a friend of Tora Uppstrøm Berg.

Afterparty with a twist

Ok, so I finished work at around 02 AM, but wasn’t home until 08, and I have some very graphic photos to prove it. But first, wanted to give you a little taste of what we were up to. More to come.

Angels & Demons

Mixed Messages (Forbid fur. Norwegian organisation)
 “Hell is Other People”.
Wanna loose weight? Jenny’s healthy & happy program is right here! I’m thinking…no.

And this is something I’ve seen several places now. Anyone know the story behind it?

So, I’m stuck at work with a camera and a computer – but with nothing to connect them with. Therefore I thought I’d show ya a picture photographer Dag Veivåg took for the 100% exhibition in Oslo. “Men who show emotion”. This is one of the outtakes.

I love – parks

A bit misleading headline there I feel – but this is what I got from going to Frognerparken today.

Also, on my way there I found some more graffiti and tall buildings. Very urban :p

Afterparty with just a hint of crazy

I got love for Dattera

One thing everyone need to have is a happy dance! Lars just happens to be an expert. Something like a phenomenon!

Did anyone say politically incorrect? Ah, whatever – we’re just weird in general.

Shout-out to Lars, Sandra and Kine for creating magic and weirdness over beers and a camera. Love.

Penis Pokey!

I was recently in Milan, didn’t really learn italian, didn’t really do a lot of pictures, but – I found the greatest book ever, with a big hole in the middle. Steffen, you’re lucky I didn’t steal it sweetheart.
Here’s a few pics.

Can you guess what to put where? I did, and I did. Love.

I love –

If you’re like me – in love with photography and graphic design, then you probably have a few blogs you check out on a daily basis, and chances are you already know about
But if not, check it out already! Here’s a little taste of all the loveliness you’ll find.

It’s all about the outfit – a zebra is the new man-purse

Who needs Nintendo Wii anyway?
Of all the stones in all the world, I had to get the flying one. Damn.

100 %

So – as many of you (hopefully) know – the graduating class from Nordic School of Photography has an exhibition at Østbanehallen in Oslo, Norway, from the 9th ’til the 23rd of April. The entire exhibition is about psychic health and has gotten a lot of great reviews and publicity! Today I was there guarding the place and used the time to show ya a little taste. If you’re in Oslo – go check it out! If not – check out the website

I love – shoots

So, first blogpost – damn pressure! Fuck it. Here’s some lovely pictures from a shoot I did this monday for an article about Are Grongstad – a norwegian handball player. I based the look on early Marlboro ads.
